Concrete Stepping Stones

One of the easiest house projects for a homeowner is to lay concrete blocks to decorate the sidewalk in the open area of the house.

Create a workspace in the house to craft stepping stones. Place newspaper and plastic wrap on the surface. Prepare the mold on the surface of the workplace. Be careful not to let the mold stick to the pan surface.

Use oil or petroleum jelly before preparing the mold. Once the mold is ready, open the cement packaging and use according to the instructions on the packaging. Mix the cement well and pour it over the mold. Mix the cement with mildew over the entire surface and press from all sides. Let the molds sit for 60 minutes and wait for the stones to set properly. Now you can start decorating the concrete blocks.

You can start by placing jars and the colorful items you want to use on the stepping stones. Even if the items or pieces of glass get some concrete, you can wipe them completely with the cloth after drying. If you choose to print the concrete steps manually, gently place the cement on the molds and wait for it to dry slightly. Apply oil or petroleum jelly to your hand and gently press onto the mild surface of the stone marking your hand shape.

You can even use stamp letters to mark different figures on the stone. When you’re done decorating the bricks, leave the cinder blocks untouched and let them sit in one place for three days. When you are sure that concrete stepping stones can be used for decoration, you can place them in the designated spot in the yard or on the sidewalk.
